PURPOSE
Devit-S» dough is used for pulp devitalization when treating pulpitis using mortal extirpation or amputation method, for treating root pulpitis of temporary and permanent teeth. It is also used as additional devitalizing medicine at the secondary treatment after using arsenic doughs.
- paraformaldehyde – i.e. antiseptic providing pulp devitalization,
- creosote – i.e. bactericidal component
- dough-adjuster and filler providing fibrous structure of the material.
- lydocaine hydrochloride – which locally anaesthesizes and reducing the danger of emergence of pain reactions.
Devit-S» material provides long and painless pulp devitalization. It excludes usage of materials neutralizing arsenic salts when using arsenious dough.
